About Me

I’m Chris “Kit” Burman-Day, Aloha!

So, who am I?

Lots of words can be used to describe me, soldier, security consultant, business owner, endurance coach, crazy, stupid, nutter, ginger, bearded, but most importantly I am a husband and a father. I love pushing myself; it’s not about competing against others it’s about competing with myself, I want to be the best version of me, each day!

Why? Why wouldn’t you want to be the best you? I strive to push both my mind and body in a march for continued fitness and love for outdoors, while motivating others, my children especially, to see that with the right mindset you can go further than you thought; that pain and fear are not the end, but the beginning – to motivate others to be the best version of themselves and be their own inspiration. Along the way, I want to share my message and tie-in to shout out about and collaborate with some great causes that I care about.

The challenges and adventures I enjoy are those which push both mind and body, but that don’t require you to re-mortgage the house or take a six-month sabbatical from work – microadventures you might say, well yes, I guess so, microadventures that push you to breaking point (and sometimes beyond)! Not only is it amazing what the mind and body can achieve, but you’d be surprised at the level of challenges you can find on your doorstep!
